It's My Party is the first episode of the first season of The Oddbods Show.
Synopsis
Jeff throws a party for himself on his birthday and is less than pleased when the others turn up to celebrate a surprise party with him. He soon finds his excessive need to control things puts a dampner on things and the others leave, unable to express themselves and have fun. However, Jeff's insecurity is piqued when he discovers they are continuing the party over at Zee's place. Will he learn to chill out and join in instead of micromanaging everyone else's fun?
Plot
Jeff wakes up in the morning like usual. He goes downstairs, modifies some of the objects' positions. He is excited as it is revealed that his birthday has come when he checks the calendar. Jeff tidily prepares a muffin for the birthday. It is shown unusually that Jeff celebrates his birthday with a doll, a knight armor and a totem. He takes a gift on the near table, leaves it outside of the house, then takes it again, and feels pleased afterward (as he is pretending that someone gives a gift for him). He brings the gift inside in satisfaction, but the doorbell suddenly interrupts. Jeff goes to check as he sees nobody were outside. He returns to his house and a party hat appears in instant. Jeff feels curiously as he also notices a party horn sound, but it's still shown no one's inside of the house. He shrugs in indifference, yet the other Oddbods surprisingly fires up in joy, which startles Jeff. He then collapses immediately.
The other Oddbods start partying delightedly in Jeff's house for his birthday, which frightens Jeff. They keep doing stuffs, each on their own, such as swinging, eating messily, flirting, smudging Jeff's house... Jeff indeed feels annoyed with them, that he decides to control every messy thing in his own way, back to when it used to be by dressing everyone with rubber slippers, cleaning his room, and replace the rowdy EDM track with a softly classical track. Jeff angrily enters his kitchen, leaving the other Oddbods unconsciously. He makes six sandwiches for each Oddbod, but realizes that they are gone. He follows the rubber slippers left behind to find them. It is revealed that they are partying in Zee's house. Jeff ignores the party and returns to his house. He soon realizes that enjoying his birthday alone with the toys is monotonous as well as he feels depressed.
Jeff shyly tries to enter Zee's house for the party as he brings the sandwiches. Fuse unkindly grabs the sandwich tray. Jeff enters the house and sees his friends partying happily and chaotically. Jeff strangely enjoys the party, then joyfully dancing and cheering with the others.
On the next morning, while everyone is asleep because of partying all night, Jeff is cleaning the house with a headphone, as well as dancing optimistically.
